Maria has been practicing yoga for over 9 years and is a fully qualified Satyamvidya Holistic Yoga Teacher, Therapist and Causal Healer. She was drawn to yoga as it provided a practical tool for personal peace and wellbeing, but soon came to see that there was far more to this ancient tradition than she first thought. The appeal of Satyamvidya Yoga was that it was a more spiritual form of yoga, yet the approach was very grounded and accessible to everyone. As life continues to become more stressful, it is essential that we all seek a way to find that peace within ourselves.
It is Maria's wish to now share what she has learnt with others, so that they too can find that place of peace and stillness. She considers her role as a teacher of this material an immense honor, and will never tire of watching people gradually blossom through their yoga practice.
It takes between 3-4 years to complete the Satyamvidya teacher training course, because every student is expected to carry out their own personal work and self investigation along the way, as well as completing the full course syllabus.
As well as being a fully qualified Satyamvidya Teacher, Therapist and Healer, Maria also holds an ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology and is fully insured.
